WhiteFox unveils world’s 1st cloud-based drone detection system, STRATUS

WhiteFox Defense has recently made it to the front page following its revelation of the world’s first cloud based drone detection system, STRATUS. Reportedly, the system is now available in a cloud-based application, allowing every industry to leverage benefits from drone detection technology.

To much surprise, within 24 hours of its release, STRATUS already featured on FOX Business News and Airwards named it the number 1 Drone Detection System.

Reports suggest that WhiteFox has adapted its patent technology that stops drones from operating illegally or unsafely, like surveilling nuclear power plants, drug trafficking into prisons, and others. In fact, the U.S Government has repeatedly warned that the challenges of drone attack are intensifying in the country.

Speaking on the challenges posed, Tim Bennet, who oversees counter-drone technologies at the Department of Homeland Security mentioned in a press release that one of the biggest problems is that there is no clear understanding on the complete air picture. Earlier, expensive equipment were required to be installed at each facility to detect drones that also required protection.

What makes STRATUS different is that it creates a virtual bubble of protection to detect drones activity and perform risk assessment in real-time. It enables users to define notification and geofences criteria, also allowing them to report, track, and log drone activity as it occurs with instant email or text notification.

Besides, users can also access historical drone traffic over their facilities and generate reports demonstrating exactly what has happened. The system has been incorporated with WhiteFox sensors that offer maximum coverage in major metropolitan cities across North America.

Commenting on the novel accomplishment, WhiteFox Founder and CEO, Luke Fox stated that STRATUS is the first-ever technology to build a kind of transparency and accountability of drone activity.

Luke added that the firm is proud to publicly present the technology that is expected to save lives and help unleash the immense potential of the commercial business space.
