Samsung rolls out its expanded 2021 Odyssey gaming monitor range

Samsung Electronics, one of the leading players in the gaming monitor market, has reportedly announced the commercial launch of its expanded 2021 lineup of Odyssey gaming monitor. Following the launch of its curve-shaped gaming monitor in 2020, the company is reportedly offering a wide range of flat-screen Odyssey monitors that are available in 24 to 28 inches.

According to credible sources, the new lineup offers hyper-real picture quality, tailored ergonomics, a higher response level and intuitive usability, allowing gaming enthusiasts to enjoy real-world colors, sharp response speeds and pinpoint accuracy on PC and console gaming devices.

With the worldwide gaming industry growing, Samsung Odyssey could become a preferred option for gamers that are looking for superior picture quality and high performance. It is expected to allow gamers to choose a monitor that can fulfill their preferences.

Speaking on the launch, Hyesung Ha, Senior Vice President of Visual Display, Samsung Electronics, stated that gaming connects the whole world through shared experiences, bringing people from all backgrounds together for adventures into new realities. The Odyssey monitor lineup will enhance these experiences for more players looking for tournament victories or just the next interesting game, Ha added.

The latest additions to Odyssey gaming monitor lineup comprise of Odyssey G7 28” (Model: G70A), Odyssey G5 27” (Model: G50A) and Odyssey G3 27” and 24” (Model: G30A). The G70A model offers mesmerizing visuals along with next generation performance for players. It features Ultra High Definition (UHD) panel with a wide viewing angle of 178-degree, along with HDR400 through which it produces incredible colors.

On the other hand, the G50A model comes with a Quad High Definition (QHD) panel providing a refresh rate of 165Hz delivering a response time of 1ms3. It also has HDR10 for superior graphics. Elaborating on the G30A model, it offers a faster refresh rate of 144Hz and 1ms4 response time, pixels change with a near-instant response for speedy action and smooth on-screen performance.
