PVR NEST, Deakin University partner to unveil 'You for Youth'

PVR NEST, the CSR (corporate social responsibility) division of PVR Ltd., and Deakin University, Australia, one of the most advanced international education providers, have cooperatively unveiled 'You for Youth' – a digital campaign initiative.

The campaign aims to encourage the need for concentrating on certain Sustainable Development Goals for a safer future for the youth.

As per reliable sources, both Deakin University and PVR NEST, as partners, believe in the enormous potential possessed by the Indian Youth.

Apparently, 'You for Youth' digital campaign initiative was launched virtually in the presence of people including Deputy Chief Minister & Education Minister of Delhi - Shri Manish Sisodia, Mr. Shekhar Gupta, Editor in Chief, The Print, along with other renowned speakers from both PVR NEST and Deakin University, Australia.

The webinar launch was a huge success, with approximately 450 people registered to participate in the same.

Speaking on the launch, Deputy Chief Minister & Education Minister, Delhi, Manish Sisodia quoted that the initiative 'You for Youth' is a step taken in the right direction for the youth of Indian. This would allow the young population to think about their community and country apart from just thinking for themselves.

Manish added that the initiative will link the young generation to think about the country's greater good, and he believes that the young population comes up with questions like how, what and why of things and share better ideas that can help build a strong future of Delhi and India.

Additionally, he also mentioned of the launch of Business Blasters initiative which intends at evolving youth entrepreneurs at the school itself.

Furthermore, the world has seen young people making use of social media to bring awareness and encourage people to come forward and contribute to multiple social causes. The launching video of the campaign highlighted many young students working towards creating a difference in domains like making organic vegetables accessible, helping victims of the earthquake, gender parity and more.
