Whatfix announces takeover of Leap.is to extend mobile capabilities

Whatfix, a SaaS-based platform that offers in-app guidance & performance support for web applications and software products, has recently announced that it is acquiring mobile-first onboarding and assistance platform, Leap.is (formerly known as Jiny.io).

It marks as the largest M&A deal struck by Whatfix till date as well as its first acquisition focused on mobile DAP products. The acquisition will help the firm enhance its platform by enlarging Whatfix's mobile proficiencies.

While the toolset offered by Leap will effortlessly amalgamate with its existing applications by adding direction to mobile apps for improving stimulations and adoption, lessening time-to-ship for onboarding experiences and intensifying the customization of the overall user experience.

Khadim Batti, co-founder and CEO of Whatfix, claims that shifting towards mobile is one of the major business dynamics of recent years, precisely after the remote work got extended.

The firm is keen on bringing the Leap team to enhance mobile capabilities and hone the focus on this essential segment.

Following this acquisition, this year has been a productive year for Whatfix. The firm has accomplished YoY revenue growth of 76%, around 85% increase in new business revenue and increase of 250% increase in revenue from the current businesses.

The other milestones include receiving recognition from top analyst firms, closing new collaborations and enterprise customers, and winning some major industry awards, including the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.

While commenting on the move, CEO & co-founder of Leap, Kushargra Sinha said that Whatfix is the leader in DAP (Digital Adoption platform) and their firm is thrilled on its collaboration as it will support enlarging its DAP leadership toward mobile.

The joint goal of both the firms have always been to hasten adoption of software products, and Whatfix's browser and desktop offerings fit in perfectly with Leap's mobile offering, added Mr. Sinha.
