UAE’s Trucare buys licenses for Call of Duty, Popeye and more

Trucare, one of the leading licensed product distributors of the world's finest brands in the Middle East region, has recently announced that it has acquired licenses for use of Call of Duty, Popeye, Mansour, and Animal Planet across its merchandise.

These names are now added to its existing portfolio of 30 largest licenses in the world, including Disney, Warner Brothers, DC, Cartoon Network, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Universal, and Nickelodeon, as well as movies and TV series like Game of Thrones, Friends, Harry Potter, Mortal Combat, Matrix, House of Dragon, and more of which the firm has distribution and manufacturing rights for.

For those unaware, Call of Duty is said to be the largest best-selling video game franchise around the globe.

Meanwhile, the classic Popeye Sailor Man is an imaginary character who gets energy from eating spinach. Mansour is an Emirati cartoon designed to engage young Arab audiences in their native culture, custom and heritage.

Finally, Animal Planet is a paid television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery dedicated to documentaries and series related to domestic pets and wild animals.

Mustafa Zoeb, CEO of Trucare, said that Trucare already has some of the world's biggest and most loved characters and the firm very well recognizes that the demand is constantly growing.

Trucare will always aim to provide the audience with the most trusted brands and most followed licenses worldwide to stay true to the mission of serving the families of this region with the products that equip them in their journey, no matter where they are.

The firm also possesses distribution rights of around 80 well-recognized brands globally like Tommee Tippee, Nanobebe, Baby Bjorn, Lamaze, Fridababy, Kaufmann, LeapFrog, Playgro, Disney Baby, The First Years, Boon, Yookidoo, Fat Brain Toys, and Hello Bello, among many others.
