The fast-food chain has collaborated with the University of Louisville for starting this project

Taco Bell, a US-based chain of fast-food restaurants, is reportedly opening its business school with a vision of helping its employees learn the skills required to become the owners of their own Taco Bell restaurant in the future.

The fast-food restaurant has collaborated with the University of Louisville for the project, as per credible sources.

The Taco Bell Business School will teach employees working in top-level positions the skills required to operate and own a Taco Bell restaurant as a franchisee.

Mark King, Taco Bell CEO, said that general managers that are possibly running fairly decent-sized restaurants are qualified to be on this path.

Mr. King further said that he is thrilled to offer his employees access for educating further, for being more prepared to do your job, if an individual wish to learn more or you wish to understand and learn more about franchising and the association with between franchisor and franchisee.

However, Taco Bell did not respond immediately to the Insider's request for comment.

The program will involve a Bootcamp of six weeks, which will provide employees critical lessons regarding the business. This includes marketing, finance, and human resource for protocols.

As per the brand, the school’s first class will commence in February 2022. In addition, Taco Bell has rolled out a taco subscription program nationwide earlier this month. In the United States, anyone can purchase a Taco Lover's pass for $10, which can be converted for one taco per day for 30 days.

Taco Bell was founded by Glen Bell in Irvine, California, in 1962. It is an arm of Yum! Brands, Inc. The restaurant offers a variety of Mexican-inspired foods that include tacos, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, novelty, and specialty items, along with a variety of value-menu items.
