Symphony partners with Tencent to ease business connectivity on WeChat
The collaboration is claimed to be one of a kind as it will bring together two main global communities
Symphony users will be allowed to interact with the clients on Weixin (WeChat) in real-time
Symphony, provider of safe cloud collaborations for global markets, recently announced that it will partner with Tencent to be able to connect its community of 450,000 professionals worldwide with the Weixin platform, also called WeChat out of the mainland China.
Apparently, the collaboration will be the first of a kind that will help two main global communities to both connect and conduct their business through their favored applications. Consumers using Symphony can connect with users of Weixin in China while also meeting important financial requirements which includes the governance of information protection, requirements for data sovereignty and also trust barriers.
David Gurle, Symphony’s CEO and Founder stated that Weixin serves more than one billion active users monthly as well as financial services professionals in China and all across the world.
He further commented that the company’s customers of private wealth management and global markets require solutions that can help firms and offer them a safe as well as compliant way of connecting to the Weixin community.
Reportedly, Symphony’s customers who avail the Symphony Weixin service are allowed to communicate with the clients over Weixin on a real-time basis while also being compliant and keeping the government policies intact.
The users of Weixin are provisioned easily through a QR code while they are able to go through a similar interface that they are accustomed to. All the messages sent are automatically incorporated in the existing compliance, entitlement, Data Loss Prevention and malware protection processes of the company.
Symphony has reportedly built, scoped and tested the integration of Weixin in line with renowned financial firms to confirm that the integration meets the important requirements of the sector. The Joint Development Program includes members like Citi, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas.
