Simple Energy & Siemens to boost digital shift in India’s EV market

Indian electric vehicle maker, Simple Energy is collaborating with global technology leader, Siemens with the aim of accelerating digital transformation in the field of electric vehicles (EVs) in India.

According to the Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer, the start-up has nabbed a deal with Prolim, technology partner of Siemens, to provide its technologies in order to support India’s mission to emerge as the EV capital of the world.

Under the partnership, Simple Energy will incorporate Siemens Teamcenter X, a cloud-based product lifecycle management (PLM) software, allowing the EV maker to deploy a robust digital foundation to support its e-mobility solutions.

Leveraging the PLM model, Simple Energy will be able to infuse consistent and rich product definition aiding the company’s pursuit of showcasing outstanding R&D standards and manufacture superior quality products.

Imperative to note that electric vehicles are at the core of sustainable mobility future, and digitalization remains fundamental to ensure efficiency of EV manufacturing and environmentally friendly nature of state-of-the-art mobility.

Suhas Rajkumar, CEO and Founder of Simple Energy, quoted that as a startup committed to clean energy solutions, Simple Energy is enthused to work with two well known digital technology leaders, Siemens and Prolim, driving innovation and product development at Simple Energy.

Mr. Rajkumar cited, the company is fully focused on offering top-quality, sustainable products to its clientele and will continue to foster innovation in the e-mobility space.

Srinath Koppa, Managing Director of Prolim India, stated that adding to the company’s solid partnership with Siemens, Prolim is thrilled of the opportunity to offer Simple Energy the benefits of cloud driven Teamcenter X.

Mr. Koppa believes that the new integration will help Simple Energy in advancing its current portfolio of captivating, green and clean technology and further strengthening the rapidly expanding EV market in India.

Meanwhile, Siemens is promoting Teamcenter X as the most preferred cloud-based PLM platform by leading EV OEMs worldwide.
