Microsoft unveils 'Startups Founders Hub' to support entrepreneurs
Announcing the initiative at a virtual briefing, Microsoft said that the platform offers massive benefits and credits to startups
Startups will be able to access tools, resources, and technology required for running their business
American technology giant, Microsoft has introduced a 'Startups Founders Hub' in India to back businesses at each stage of their journey and access benefits of over $300,000. With this initiative, startups in India will benefit from skilling and mentorship opportunities with industry professionals and the 'Microsoft Learn' program.
According to Microsoft, the Hub is accessible and available to all Indian startups, together with those without the validation of third-party or funding.
Sangeeta Bavi, Microsoft India’s Director for Startup Ecosystem, said that as a platform firm, Microsoft's cloud services and solutions are designed to authorize founders to focus on what they are best at and transform at their own pace.
Microsoft formed the Startups Founders Hub after general examination and discussions with hundreds of founders who overtly shared their requirement for digital ecosystem access.
Bavi further added that the firm is looking forward to how this new offering will back more founders in Asia and offer access to the tools, technology, and resources they require to build and run their business.
Being the 3rd largest startup landscape globally, India is home to around 100 unicorns with an overall valuation of around $320 billion.
Today, the country has around 67,000 startups well-recognized by the Department for Promotion and International Trade.
Microsoft is also collaborating with firms like OpenAI, a top leader in AI research and deployment, which develops AI systems for providing startups with unique benefits and discounts.
Microsoft claims that the Hub is built especially for early-age startups for lowering the barriers to business creation.
