Liqid bags funding from DigitalBridge Ventures & Blackwells Capital

Liqid, the leading provider of composable infrastructure software platform, has recently announced that it has received strategic follow-on funding from the venture capital division of DigitalBridge Group Inc. – DigitalBridge Ventures and Blackwells Capital.

Being an ecosystem in the middle of undergoing transformation linked with the propagation of AI (artificial intelligence) and other highly valued applications, the firm will be using the capital to create, identify, and pursue budding market opportunities for solutions based on Liqid Matrix™ CDI (composable disaggregated infrastructure) software.

Notably, the architecture of traditional data centers results in poor scalability & hardware sprawl, operational expenditures and wasted capital, and growing carbon emissions linked with inefficient growth. As AI constantly blurs the lines between cloud, on-prem, and edge computing, these IT environments can never fulfill the demand for productive data performance.

The Liqid Matrix CDI software platform offers cloud-like flexibility and speed, providing higher efficacy for data center infrastructure.

Users can deploy, configure and scale bare-metal servers within seconds and then reassign valuable resources through software as the need arises. The unique software and solution of Liqid offers new levels of resource utilization.

Sumit Puri, CEO & Cofounder, Liqid, said that the future of data centers belongs in the cloud, at the edge and on-prem, and everywhere in between, which signifies that infrastructure must be software-defined, adaptive enough for answering requests from every direction, and deliver the performance and intelligence needed to keep resources flawlessly balanced to avoid interruptions in mission-critical applications.

He continued that the team at Liqid is pleased to collaborate with DigitalBridge and Blackwells, using the collective insights of Liqid to imagine where the market will be going and build adaptive, intelligent, and more sustainable infrastructure solutions which solve the most urgent requirements of performance and efficiency today along with preparing the future growth of organizations.
