LetsTransport joins forces with EVRE to offer charging infrastructure

LetsTransport, a tech-logistics company based in Bengaluru, has collaborated with integrated charging infrastructure provider EVRE to cater to the parking and charging infra needs of its 1,000 EV fleet.

As a part of the deal, EVRE will build 1,000 charging stations within a period of 6 months across India.

EVRE will offer LetsTransport’s EV fleet a space for parking and charging across the country’s 12 cities.

Adhering to a phase-based implementation model, EVRE will set up 200 charging stations in Bengaluru followed by 200 in Delhi-NCR while the remaining will be distributed across Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and other cities by end of 2022.

The new charging infrastructure will support LetsTransport along with other EV fleet owners.

With the new partnership, LetsTransport could benefit largely as the parking spaces and charging stations will support the company’s active fleet of near about 1,00,000 vehicles and support its goal to transform into a 100% EV fleet.

According to an official statement, this partnership will demonstrate the significance of a contiguous and systematic charging infrastructure in operating an EV fleet.

It will allow EV fleet operators to focus mainly on their respective core operations.

Managing a massive EV fleet is what EVRE will contribute to the partnership. With a portfolio of more than 650 operational EV charging stations across the country, EVRE is well positioned to assist any EV fleet owner tap into full potential of their fleet, said Chandresh Sethia, co-founder of EVRE.

Mr. Sethia added that the partnership will involve mutual support from both parties in scaling up utilization of hubs and solidifying footprint across the country.

EVRE will take charge of designing, manufacturing and executing maintenance as well as operation of EV charging infrastructure along with technology used in chargers both existing and forthcoming.

On the other hand, LetsTransport will allow EVRE to determine favorable site to set up charging stations based on demand assessment to ensure higher utilization owing to its integrated approach to demand aggregation, financing, supply optimization and connecting with charging infrastructure.
