Hyundai Motor to enter online community-based Non-Fungible Token market

South Korean automotive manufacturer, Hyundai Motor has recently announced that it is foraying into the online community based NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) market in partnership with the NFT brand 'Meta Kongz.'

Hyundai Motor is the first automaker entering the NFT market with its community of NFT, encompassing the Hyundai NFT official website and channels on Twitter and Discord.

The users of Hyundai will be presented with the Hyundai brand experience in the multiverse via sharing NFTs portraying its mobility solutions. Its channels on Twitter and Discord were opened by recently, and the official website of NFT is expected to be opened in May 2022.

With dedicated channels, the firm will constantly manage the assets value of its NFTs. The online platform will be offering an open communication channel 24/7 between the community members and the company, with real-time updates of its NFTs’ assets value.

Hyundai has recently released a short video presenting the Hyundai NFT universe concept of 'Metamobility Universe,' which showcases the concept of 'Metamobility' announced at CES 2022.

In this short video, the gorilla character of 'Meta Kongz' drives in both a modernly reinterpreted heritage series PONY and a classic PONY from Earth to the Moon, picturing how the time and space can transcend via the mobility solutions.

In the end, the film also teases a star-shaped shooting NFT at the end which will be released next month.

Thomas Schemera, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Customer Experience Division, Hyundai Motor, said that the Hyundai NFT space would enlarge the company’s brand experience, specifically with the MZ generation, bracing its commitment further towards innovation in both the real world and in the metaverse.

He continued that their firm is extremely pleased to unveil 'Metamobility' via its own NFTs and start this expedition with 'Meta Kongz.'
