Hyundai Motor announces carbon-neutral commitment at IAA Mobility 2021

Hyundai Motor Company, a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer, has recently pledged to become carbon neutral by 2045, an announcement made at IAA Mobility 2021.

The automaker considers clean mobility, green energy, and next-generation platforms as the three pillars of its integrated method to accomplish carbon neutrality.

Hyundai is displaying the complete spectrum of its electric vehicle lineup and the latest solutions for progressing with encouraging energy at this year's IAA, which runs from 6 to 12 September in Munich, Germany.

President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, Jaehoon (Jay) Chang said – Hyundai Motor is committed to doing the right thing for the world, as stated in the company's vision, Progress for Humanity. Climate change is an evident problem that requires everyone's undivided attention now more than ever.

Hyundai Motor has pledged to become carbon neutral in its global commodities and services by 2045. The firm will invest in better transportation and healthier energy solutions to help everyone live a better life in the future.

The IAA visitors may locate Hyundai Motor's booth in Hall A1, Messe Munich, where the manufacturer showcases BEV concepts, an all-electric robotaxi model, and artistic displays on the hydrogen value chain.

IAA visitors can also use Hyundai's Blue Lane service to get to the event's multiple venues, where they can test-drive the manufacturer's latest clean mobility vehicles, such as the NEXO, IONIQ 5, Elec City Fuel Cell bus and Kona EV.

Hyundai's IAA presentation is also available in digital format. Hyundai Motor's Worldwide YouTube account has a video of the press conference.

President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, Michael Cole stated that this year's IAA is notably different from prior events, with a new site and a live-digital hybrid format. The organization is extremely thrilled to be participating once again as an exhibitor.

He further said that they are delighted to share its future vision, which extends beyond automobile mobility. On top of that, they are laying out the strategy for being a carbon-neutral society, which is critical for the planet's future.
