Huawei claims to receive same treatment as other private firms in China

 


	Following a report by one of the official sources, the tech giant has reportedly cleared all commotions making it clear about its relationship with the Chinese government.
	Calls the relationship as “no different from any other private company operating in the state of China.


Amid the heat spread across the Chinese firms regarding the tech giant, Huawei receiving over USD 75 billion in state support, the company has finally stepped up to deny having any special treatment by the Chinese government.

Apparently, the company recently quoted that its relationship with the Chinese government is no different than the other forms operating in China, post a report estimated that it had received a huge amount for global rise in the 5G network by the government.

As per the Journal, the Chinese government had supported the Shenzhen based Huawei to develop from a little known phone switches vendor to one of the most prominent global telecommunications equipment suppliers. The government had allegedly offered generous financing terms to the company whilst cutting down the rival companies’ prices by over 30 per cent, as is claimed by the report.

Speculations have it that the report has rolled out statement claiming that China’s assistance for Huawei is among the factors fueling the questions about the company’s relationship with Beijing.

Raising the denials, the VP of company’s corporate communications department, Karl Song reportedly quoted that just like other tech firms of China, Huawei receives some policy support from the Chinese government. Other than this, the company has never received an additional treatment or funds to support their growth goals.

The tech giant, since past years, has been deeply involved in the US-China trade wars and has supposedly been accused of being a medium for Chinese intelligence by Washington eventually leading it to be on the US Entity list. For the records, the US Entity List is a trade blacklist which restricts the company’s ability to buy US technology.
