DeepSig opens new headquarters in Virginia to meet expansion needs

By Pankaj Singh

DeepSig Inc.- a leading name in artificial intelligence and machine learning in wireless communications has reportedly announced the establishment of its new headquarters in Virginia.

Based near its 5G Wireless AI Lab, the new headquarters is expected to meet the company’s expansion requirements along with serving the virtual radio access network ecosystem along with other prominent technologies that use machine learning and AI to enhance wireless network offerings.

The advent of new technologies is encouraging operators to enhance their network spending without greater revenues from users.

DeepSig is seeking to help mobile operators along with their vendors to reduce radio access networks OpEx and CapEx by substituting conventional signal processing and RF-sensing with deep learning to enhance user experience, network, and capacity resiliency.

According to James Shea, CEO, DeepSig, the firm offers a unique domain experience in both commercial and public sectors. The company is constantly evolving its open standards-based artificial intelligence software to meet the broadening range of wireless solutions.

The new location of DeepSig’s headquarters has been chosen to closely link customers, partners, and employees to the place where the entity builds and tests its technologies, and to extend direct access to the team knowledge, Mr. James added.

For the record, the 5G Wireless AI Lab is carrying out highly-advanced research and product development activities to offer one-of-its-kind AI in wireless signal processing along with radio sensing.

Notably, the facility primarily focuses on measuring and validating machine learning software technology on data and over-the-air calls through 5G Open vRAN and signal classification for interference mitigation and dynamic spectrum allocation.
