The crypto platform will integrate Worldpay from FIS’ merchant services for card-based purchase & crypto sale
Crypto.com, one of the fastest growing crypto platforms in the world, has partnered with Worldpay from FIS, appointing the latter as a global validator and operator for the Crypto.org Chain, a public blockchain that facilitates worldwide transactions between people and businesses.
In addition to the blockchain platform, Worldpay will also foster further growth and global expansion of Crypto.com with its global merchant acquiring services.
Crypto.com claims that its platform has more than 10 million customers and allows them to purchase or sell 250 different cryptocurrencies using the Crypto.com Visa Card, Crypto.com App and the Crypto.com Exchange.
The partnership comes at a time of extensively growing cryptocurrencies, making sense for Crypto.com to team up with a reliable validator to operate the Crypto.com Chain.
The cryptocurrency platform’s pursuit of an expert payments provider with a comprehensive experience in working with crypto exchanges builds upon its primary aim to continue growth.
With the merchant services provided by Worldpay from FIS, Crypto.com will effectively process various card-based transactions and allow sales of cryptocurrencies.

The cryptocurrency player is working towards improving accessibility to cryptocurrencies and is therefore keen on joining forces with Worldpay to enhance growth of crypto and digital assets.
At present, FIS successfully processes transactions worth more than $2 trillion each year, serving customers from over 100 countries with multiple payment options and currencies.
