Cavallo, an on-premises & cloud solution provider specifically targeting mid-market distributors, has recently announced its integration with Magento, an open-source e-commerce platform that offers omnichannel solutions, including retail-associate, in-store, and order-management technologies.
Sources close to the move state that the integration will empower distributors to satisfy their e-commerce goals by simply managing orders through Cavallo's distribution management tool called ‘SalesPad’ without manually re-keying orders for or copying datasets.
Alex Schelhaas, software Product Manager at Cavallo, said that Magento aids distributors to scale their businesses quickly. The firm's integration will help them scale without the risk associated with manual order imports and added overhead.
This integration puts Cavallo a step closer to producing omnichannel centric solutions to meet distributors needs.
With orders automatically synced with SalesPad, distributors can offer faster and more precise order fulfilment, resulting in less time spent and quick ROI for the integration.
Additionally, for easily importing orders, exporting items, and tracking inventory levels and order status updates, the Magento merger improves selling capabilities for enhanced access to omnichannel options.
Magento makes the selling platform easy and friendly to navigate whether the distributor is new in the online store or has experience in ecommerce channels. It efficaciously integrates digital and physical shopping experiences.
As e-commerce continues to generate new ways to shop in an ever-changing supply chain, seamless integration like Cavallo's link to top online sales platforms at many points across the distribution workflow enables mid-size distributors to compete with long-established retail giants.
Alex Schelhass, Product Manager of Cavallo, said that many people have been dependent on slow, laborious imports that were incredibly error-prone before the Magento integration.
Incidentally, Cavallo’s merger with Magento follows the likes of brand’s extended partnership with Shopify and Shopify Plus to extend distributors’ e-commerce options, with more platforms to join in the year 2022.
