Breakfast becomes easier with Kellogg’s new cereal vending machine

Serving breakfast was never this easy with Kellogg’s recent launch of a new cereal vending machine. One of the world-leading cereal-making firms, has reportedly partnered with a robotic company, Chowbotics to develop and deploy cereal-making merchandising machines at two University cafeterias in the US.

Labelled as the Kellogg’s Bowl Bot, the customized cereal-mixing machine affords a whole bunch of breakfast options to college students, using mixtures of as much as 22 components. For the record, the machine is developed by Chowbotics, which is a wholly owned DoorDash subsidiary.

It has been reported that the first of the two machines is placed in the foodservice facility of the Florida State University (FSU), while the second is put on the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

According to official sources, the new Bowl Bot uses patent robotics expertise from Chowbotics to design few snack meals for university students. Besides, each corporations have partnered to design a specific menu for the professors which features seven pre-programmed meal options.

Moreover, the students also have an option to choose from some of the fancy items on the menu including About Last Night, Valentine’s Day Vibes, and Hawaii 5-0.

Being highly personalized, Bowl Bot enables college students to create their own cereal bowls making use of any combination of Kellogg’s cereals, toppings, and an expansive range of Greek yogurt and milk choices. The components are stored in monitored refrigeration and closed containers.

Additionally, automated expiry notifications for the components are dispatched to on-campus meals services suppliers to make sure an optimum proficiency for the scholars.

Speculations have it that the students can use the robotic bot’s touchscreen interface or the machine’s cell application to place their cereal orders throughout breakfast. The price for the meals are touted to be ranging from $2.99 to $6.50.

An official source close to Kellogg’s mentioned that the company is highly committed to providing innovative solutions for its operator partners, not only helping them with the menu items but also delivering the full customer experience.
