BaaS platform mintBlue completes €2 million seed funding round

mintBlue, the provider of BaaS (Blockchain-as-a-service) platform, has secured €2 million (USD 2.2 million) in a financing round headed by investment firm Two Hop Ventures, with participation from Dutch angel investors and Ayre Ventures.

mintBlue is a go-to platform for developers allowing building with blockchain. It offers an exclusive API that empowers large and small companies to migrate data to a public blockchain, in turn increasing interoperability, security and traceability.

A leading blockchain development suite that provides data storage directly on the blockchain, mintBlue intends to become a decentralized AWS.

Its solutions are non-custodial, which means that end-users regulate their data and have no lock-in problems.

The software supports a viable level scale which allows monetization opportunities down to a thousandth of a cent.

mintBlue’s software lets growing list of companies focus on their core operations without the requirement to devote resources and time to understand the complex blockchain infrastructure.

Recently, VISMA | yuki, a leading provider of cloud accounting solutions based in Europe, selected mintBlue [MD1] for deploying blockchain-based functionalities into its books.

Additionally, mintBlue already has handled over 700,000 NFT invoices for VISMA l yuki at a very low cost for each invoice, improving efficacy while removing vectors for financial misconduct.

The angel investor funding mintBlue says that Blockchain technology is captivating, and the team of mintBlue has successfully developed one of the world’s first real-world-use-cases for a public blockchain with VISMA, with more to come.

While commenting on the investment round, Niels van den Bergh, mintBlue CEO, said that with this investment, mintBlue would be starting its course to become the de-facto blockchain infrastructure provider for web3. The platforms are expected to drop market share over procedures, and the firm will support the transition.
