APAC channel partners pick Blackberry Jarvis to protect IoT software

BlackBerry Limited has recently announced that 13 channel partners which will be offering BlackBerry® Jarvis® 2.0 to organizations that create safe, mission-critical systems in APAC.

In transportation, medical equipment or on the factory floor, the BlackBerry Jarvis is key for the industries which must obey strict regulations while supervising intricate supply chains and the rising risk of security attacks on cyber and the physical systems.

It is a security testing tool and dual SCA (software composition analysis) intended to spot and list open-source software and software licenses within embedded systems, as well as cybersecurity exposures and vulnerabilities.

It also conducts a detailed scan of the software binary and generates a SBOM (software bill of materials), giving a deep actionable insight in a segment of the time it takes for security professionals to perform these tasks manually.

Embedded software developers leverage BlackBerry Jarvis to establish compliance for specific security standards and toughen their systems to make them more robust.

Regulators can use the tools for implementing compliance, authenticating security claims by suppliers and manufacturers.
