Air Senegal picks RateGain's Airgain to expand in the African market

RateGain Travel Technologies Ltd., the SaaS solutions provider for travel and hospitality has reportedly announced that the nationwide carrier of the Republic of Senegal, Air Senegal, has reportedly chosen RateGain's AirGain product to drive its development in the African market by securing access to real-time and correct market insights.

Speaking on the latest move, Alioune Badara Fall, the CEO of Air Senegal, stated that the growth of African airlines depends on access to scalable, affordable, and reliable market insights, and AirGain plays a crucial role in offering the same. Alioune also mentioned that the easy-to-use UI, dedicated customer support, and accuracy of rates make it easy for the commercial teams to leverage AirGain and make better decisions.

Vinay Varma, General Manager and Senior Vice President, AirGain, added that the firm is glad to collaborate with Air Senegal and expand its footprint in the expanding African market. Vinay further stated that the firm believes that the African market offers immense prospects and can adopt technologies that assist airlines in sustaining growth over the long term. AirGain is the right platform for the challenges to capture the market share, and the firm is keen on offering the necessary support to achieve its goals, added Vinay.

For the unfamiliar, Air Senegal is one of the leading airline carriers. It expanded its domestic and global route network after its debut in 2018, later growing into the long-haul sector with air travel to the US and Europe. With the help of AirGain, Air Senegal would track developments on all the critical OND routes faster. As a result, it can stay on top of market changes and issue the most competitive offer to its customers.

Apparently, it was created to assist revenue managers in adjusting to the post-pandemic world by providing crucial market insights and competitive intelligence in a simple and quick-to-understand UI that would enable revenue teams worldwide to make the best pricing decisions and open up fresh revenue opportunities every day.
